Illinois DL Bobby Roundtree's Go Fund Me goal of $97,000 has been reached
Illinois defensive lineman Bobby Roundtree has been out the entire 2019 season after sustaining a spinal injury over the offseason.
Roundtree’s talent is unquestioned, yet the Fighting Illini have won three straight games and are 5-4 overall. They are on the brink of becoming bowl eligible.

For Roundtree’s injury, Illinois started a Go Fund Me page for their injured lineman. The goal was to raise $97,000.
That goal was met on Monday:

It’s amazing what human beings can do for a good cause. Helping out those in need is always an amazing thing, and, Roundtree is in need.
Apparently, he has plenty of people that care, support him and are willing to help him in a time of need. We’re certainly wishing him the best in his recovery.
