It’s a tradition.
At Illinois each year, the Marching Illini visit the football team during fall camp. Saturday marked the final day of camp for the Fighting Illini football team with their season-opener (Akron) coming on Aug. 31 to Champaign.
With it being the final day of fall camp, the team received a visit from the Marching Illini.

The Marching Illini are of course into it, but so is the football team. The Marching Illini played their line-up of game day songs to the team according to a release and helped wrap up the final camp day for coach Lovie Smith and his players.
