A key cog in Illinois’ offense already looks to be in mid-season form.

Running back Reggie Corbin is gearing up for a big year after rushing for over 1,000 yards with nine touchdowns in 2018. He also averaged 8.5 yards per carry and is a deep threat whenever he touches the ball.

The BTN Bus Tour rolled onto campus Wednesday, and the crew received an up-close look at the 2019 preparation for Corbin. Host Dave Revsine took a video of one play by Corbin that produced a very promising result.

Corbin took the handoff from quarterback Brandon Peters before making a cutback behind the line. His blocking opened up a crease for him, and Corbin made multiple men missing before scoring from a long way out.
