IU against everybody? Hoosiers appears to be ditching B1G logo from jersey, helmet for Outback Bowl
Indiana will be playing Mississippi in the Outback Bowl on Saturday, but don’t look for any softening of their feelings about being left out of a New Year’s Six bowl.
Also, don’t look for a B1G logo to grace the Hoosiers uniform.
After being snubbed of a Citrus Bowl appearance it appears Indiana will not have any Big Ten logos on their uniforms for the Outback Bowl. #iufb

The Hoosiers felt they were the second-best team in the B1G, and have not been quiet about their displeasure regarding their bowl participation. The lack of a B1G logo on their chests could be viewed as they’re making a visible statement to that effect.
Former Indiana athletic director Fred Glass made a statement earlier in the week regarding the “good-old boy Big Ten power structure” accusing the league of trying to keep the Indiana program from gaining momentum.
Many at Indiana felt an appearance in the Citrus Bowl was well deserved. But as Northwestern qualified for the B1G championship game, eventually falling to No. 3 Ohio State, the Wildcats were given the New Year’s Day slot to take on Auburn.
Indiana and Ole Miss will kickoff at 12:30PM on Saturday, Jan. 2 in the Outback Bowl, at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
