Indiana has added another defensive recruit to its 2022 class. This time, it’s an Ohio linebacker.

A few hours after the Hoosiers received a verbal pledge from 4-star cornerback Trevell Mullen, the younger brother of current IU defensive back Tiawan Mullen, Tom Allen and his staff received another commitment. Isaiah Jones, a 3-star linebacker out of London, Ohio made his announcement on Twitter.

Jones became the second player in the 2022 class to commit on Sunday. He’s the fifth player in the 2022 class to verbally commit to the program.

Per 247Sports, Jones is listed as a 6-foot-2, 215-pound linebacker who received offers from eight schools on the recruiting front. He picked Indiana over Minnesota, Cincinnati, Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Duke and Wake Forest.

Jones took a recruiting visit to Minnesota on June 11 and Indiana on June 18.

Jones cracks the Top 100 linebackers of the 2022 class, coming in at No. 99 for his position. He’s also ranked as the No. 35 prospect out of Ohio.
