Xavier Johnson has reportedly settled the case stemming from an April arrest.

In April, the Indiana guard was reportedly arrested on reckless driving charges. Johnson was also charged with resisting law enforcement during the incident.

On Tuesday, Dustin Dopirak with the Indianapolis Star reported Johnson’s case has been settled in court. According to Dopirak, Johnson pleaded guilty to reckless driving, a Class C misdemeanor. Johnson will receive a 60-day suspended sentence, 360 days of unsupervised probation and 50 hours of community service.

Dopirak also reported that the felony charge of resisting law enforcement with a vehicle was dismissed.

In his first season with the program, Johnson started 34 games and averaged 12.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, 5.1 assists and shot 38% from 3-point range. Hopefully, this incident is behind Johnson heading toward the 2022-23 season.
