The Hoosiers have had some turnover from last season’s receiving corps. Both Peyton Hendershot and Ty Fryfogle have moved on to the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys. Both players combined for 92 receptions and 1,055 yards for Indiana a season ago. In addition, Miles Marshall (22 receptions, 311 yards) transferred to Miami (OH).
Indiana is looking to rebound after going 2-10 (0-9 B1G) last season. The Hoosiers also ranked 123d in points per game (17.2 ppg). Allen is hoping the wide receiver parody will result in more points this season. Indiana opens up against Illinois on Sept. 2nd.
Allen also revealed during his Tuesday press conference that he has his starting quarterback lined up for Week 1. Despite having that decision wrapped up, Allen is planning to keep the QB1 decision secret until kickoff.
