It’s going to be couple more years until Deuce Hogan enrolls at Iowa. But when he does, he’s going to have a spot on the all-name team.

Hogan, a 2020 quarterback from Grapevine, Tex., gave his verbal commitment to the Hawkeyes on Friday night.

He shared that via an announcement video on Twitter:

Hogan is the No. 15 pro-style quarterback and the No. 379 player overall in the 2020 class. The junior-to-be has already been a multi-year starter.

The 6-4, 190-pound signal-caller has offers from the likes of Baylor, Iowa State, Oklahoma State and others. He’s the first verbal commitment to join Iowa’s 2020 class. He took an unofficial visit to Iowa City earlier in the month.

Hogan became the second pro-style quarterback recruit to give his commitment to the Hawkeyes this month. Alex Padilla, a 2019 recruit, verbally committed to Iowa two weeks ago.
