Glendon Miller ignited Maryland’s start to the second half in the Music City Bowl with the Terrapins already holding a commanding lead.

Mike Locksley’s program kicked the door down early in the game, blitzing Auburn with a 21-0 start in the first quarter. Heading into halftime, the Terrapins were up 24-7, and Miller kept things rolling in the third quarter.

Both teams were having a bit of a struggle getting going in their first few drives, but Auburn had the ball back with a chance to cut into the deficit. Facing a 1st-and-10, the Tigers tried to throw an out-route, but Payton Thorne’s pass never arrived.

Miller jumped the route and picked off the pass, heading back in the opposite direction without anyone in his path. The pick-6 makes it 31-7 as the Terrapins look to close in on a 3rd straight bowl win under Locksley.
