Maryland is just one of many programs to experience a rash of players hitting the transfer portal since the end of the regular season, and another Terrapin defender has elected to head to the portal as of Thursday.

This time, the player is Shane Mosley, a former 3-star prospect out of Pennsylvania via the class of 2020. Mosley produced 6 tackles this season.

“Dear Terps, I’m so grateful for the opportunity to play football at the University of Maryland,” Mosley wrote via social media. “I’d like to thank God for this amazing opportunity. I’d also like to thank all of the coaches and staff that have helped me over the past three years. Special thanks to Coach Locks for allowing me to be a part of the Terp family…. I will always cherish the memories and relationships I have built. After much consideration, I’ll be entering my name into the transfer portal.”

While some of the portal decisions are to be expected, key tight end CJ Dippre also entered his name into the portal recently. His departure would be a key loss if he does indeed decide on a new destination.
