Maryland has lost another wide receiver commit this summer and it comes only 3 weeks after he originally committed to the school.

3-star Amari Clark announced his decision to reopen his commitment on Sunday night and thanked the Terps and their staff along with it.

Per 247Sports, Clark is considered a top 5 player in New Jersey and the 59th receiver nationally in the 20022 recruiting class. He’s also listed as the 412th ranked player overall, regardless of position.

Clark has already received one crystal ball prediction on his page, though it’s only at a “3” probability. The prediction is to Temple and it comes from Brian Dohn, who’s one of 247Sports’ National Recruiting Analysts.

The first receiver commitment the Terps lost came at the end of July when Kobe Prentice announced he would be taking his talents to Alabama after they offered. He originally committed to Maryland on June 30th and then re-opened his commitment about 2 weeks later.

That said, Maryland still has Shaleak Knotts (4-star receiver out of North Carolina), on the board unless another school comes calling.
