Roman Hemby had the game of his career in Week 8 versus Northwestern.

Hemby finished with 24 carries for 179 yards and 3 TDs, including a 75-yard TD run late in the 4th that essentially iced the game.

Hemby was particularly impressive in one key area. Per PFF, Hemby led all Power 5 backs with 10 missed tackles forced.

Hemby set new career-highs in rushing yards and TDs in the win. Hemby now has 105 carries for 681 yards and 7 TDs on the year, averaging an impressive 6.5 yards per carry. Hemby’s 6.5 YPC is good for 3rd-best in the B1G.
