Apparently, the sideline isn’t a safe place for a Terrapin to be, and neither was the field on Saturday. Michigan’s Blake Corum ran over the Terps for more than 243 yards and an eventual 34-27 victory. The Michigan tailback had career highs in carries and yards, and he had 132 yards rushing and 1 touchdown at halftime.
Although Testudo was taken out on Saturday, it was a hard-fought battle and looked at one point as though Maryland may be ripe for the upset. QB Taulia Tagavailoa finished the game with 207 yards passing, 1 touchdown, and 2 interceptions, marching the Terrapins down the field on several campaigns.
Maryland will meet a second B1G opponent next Saturday when the Terps take on Michigan State at home.
