Blake Corum was the spark for Michigan in Week 4, and his timing could not have been perfect. Locked in a tough battle against Maryland, Corum ripped off a pair of clutch touchdowns that proved to be the difference in the win.

In the first half, Corum and the Wolverines caught the Terrapins off guard on 4th down. His touchdown just before halftime gave Michigan a lead.

Then, in the fourth quarter, Corum raced for a huge touchdown to increase the lead for the Wolverines. Despite a late score by Maryland, Michigan held on for the 34-27 win.

On Tuesday, Corum was honored as the National RB of the Week by the Doak Walker Award. It is the latest in a string of honors for his performance.

Corum finished the Week 4 game with career-high marks in careers and yards. He went over 200 yards for the first time in his career.

Prior to Tuesday’s honor, Corum was already recognized as a B1G Player of the Week and the Rose Bowl Game’s B1G Player of the Week. Corum’s stock is also soaring with On3 Sports’ NIL Valuations tool projecting his value has increased more than $200,000 in the past week.

We’ll see what Corum can dial up in Week 5.
