Donovan Peoples-Jones was asked about wearing his 'Revenge Tour' hat during Tuesday's press conference
Everyone likely remembers Michigan’s “revenge tour” from the 2018 season and how that ended.
At this point, there’s no need to rehash how the Wolverines began a self-proclaimed “revenge tour” after the season-opening loss to Notre Dame. Nor does it need to be mentioned how that tour rattled off 10-straight victories before an epic thud in the season finale against Ohio State.
That’s all in the past. Unfortunately, Michigan’s College Football Playoff hopes have already been put to bed before even facing off against Ohio State. Still, the Wolverines have lost seven straight in The Game, and it will continue to be a revenge opportunity until that streak is snapped.

That is what makes Donovan Peoples-Jones’ hat selection for Tuesday a bit more interesting. During the 2018 season, the team wore shirts and hats for the revenge tour at various points throughout the season.
According to Angelique Chengelis with the Detroit News, Peoples-Jones donned his revenge tour hat for Tuesday’s press conference. It comes as no surprise that he was asked about that selection.
Peoples-Jones played it off:
“This is just my regular blue hat. I don’t know what you’re talking about,” said Peoples-Jones.
Chengelis shared the video of the brief exchange:
Funny stuff. So @AshleyBastock42 asked DPJ if his Revenge Tour hat was just a random selection tonight. 🤣 pic.twitter.com/xR95mQ275M

Considering how the 2018 season ended, hopefully Peoples-Jones wasn’t trying to make a statement. If he is, Michigan will hope the 2019 version of The Game plays out differently in Ann Arbor.
Saturday’s kickoff is set for 12 pm EST on FOX.
