Most college football analysts believe Michigan is easily one of the 10 best teams in the country this season. Count ESPN’s David Pollack out of that group, though.

During College GameDay’s first pregame show on Saturday, the Wolverines were a huge topic of conversation. The questions about winning the division and beating Ohio State that have loomed large for years now were discussed on ESPN’s pregame show.

There seems to be a lot of “wait and see” conversation about Michigan, but most agree it’s still a team capable of being one of the best in college football. But Pollack sees an average football team in Ann Arbor.

“All of us are buying Michigan to be a really good team this year?” Pollack said.“Shea Patterson I legitimately have concerns about him. They lost a ton of talent. I think they’ll be an OK team. I don’t think they’re going to be a top-10 team at the end of the season.”

Those comments from Pollack echo what former Ohio State receiver and fellow ESPN analyst Joey Galloway said last week about Michigan. He’s also not buying stock in Jim Harbaugh or the Wolverines.

We’ll get a first-hand look at the Wolverines next Saturday, when Michigan hosts Middle Tennessee in the season opener.
