Urban Meyer was the perfect fit as the head coach at Ohio State. Each and every day, he made it clear that he’s not a fan of “That Team Up North,” never actually mentioning Michigan by name.

He went 7-0 against the Wolverines in his career in Columbus, winning three B1G titles and a national championship, as well. So, if anyone has earned the right to troll a rival, Meyer is an excellent candidate.

And now that Meyer has a new gig on FOX as a studio analyst, he gets the opportunity to take subtle jabs at Michigan on a national stage. He wasted no time in doing that on Saturday, as the FOX Sports college football crew prepared for Week 0.

Meyer was asked if 2019 would “be the year for Michigan?” Meyer’s response?

“Year for what?”

That comment made its way around social media and drew plenty of laughs from Ohio State fans. It drew equally as much ire from the Michigan faithful.
