Year 5 for Jim Harbaugh has not gone smoothly, to say the least.

The Wolverines’ 2-0 start came to a screeching halt on the road at Wisconsin. The Badgers raced out to a 28-0 lead before cruising to a big win. While the win made a big statement for Paul Chryst’s Badgers, it only heaped more questions onto the shoulders of Harbaugh and company.

Following the disappointing loss, many ex-players have taken to social media and elsewhere to vent frustrations. Charles Woodson said on the FOX post-game broadcast that he is “embarrassed” after the performance, and Steve Hutchinson echoed similar sentiments Sunday.

According to comments shared by Angelique Chengelis with The Detroit News, Hutchinson said it’s time to forget about even winning right now. Instead, can Harbaugh and company figure out a way to simply compete in games?

Here’s the comment in a tweet from Chengelis:

Michigan dropped all the way to No. 20 on the AP Poll after the loss, just five spots ahead of in-state rival Michigan State at No. 25. Luckily, the Wolverines should get a comfortable win in Week 5 against Rutgers, but the future schedule remains tough.

Games against Iowa, Penn State, Notre Dame, Michigan State, and Ohio State are still to come. At this point, the Wolverines have way more questions than answers.
