Miami Dolphins owner comments on rumors linking Jim Harbaugh to coaching vacancy
Now that the regular season in the NFL has concluded many teams are making a change at head coach heading into 2022.
Among the teams to make a change are the Miami Dolphins who fired Brian Flores after 3 seasons. That decision came early Monday morning with many quick to speculate about a potential move for Jim Harbaugh due to some connections with the Dolphins.
The biggest connection between Michigan and the Dolphins is Miami owner Stephen M. Ross. Ross attended Michigan as a student and has since become a big-time donor to the university.

He was quick to publicly comment on the rumors surrounding Harbaugh and the opening with the Dolphins. According to Bruce Feldman with The Athletic, Ross said he will not be the man to lure Harbaugh away from the Wolverines while endorsing Harbaugh as “a great coach.”

While Ross is not interested in getting Harbaugh out of Ann Arbor, the Dolphins are not the only NFL team looking for a coach. Among the other teams making a change is the Chicago Bears who are moving on from head coach Matt Nagy and GM Ryan Pace for 2022.
