Michigan might not have gotten the chance to play Ohio State this Saturday due to COVID protocols and injuries, but they supposedly had…a good practice on Sunday?

When speaking to the media on Monday, Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh had positive things to say about his team’s practice on Sunday as Michigan prepares for a championship week game against Iowa.

As Harbaugh tries to lead a struggling team while worrying about his own future in Ann Arbor, I guess a win is a win. We still don’t really know what a spirited practice looks like or what results come from it.

Ideally, this spirited practice would lead to a win. Lord knows Michigan surely needs it. This has been a beyond disappointing season for the Wolverines. And Harbaugh didn’t even get to disappoint with another hapless loss to Ohio State because of Michigan’s COVID situation.

At this point, it seems like the Wolverines’ leading man is just grasping for straws. Michigan is not where it should be as a Big Ten power. We’ll see if the Wolverines make a change after this season or continue on with the Harbaugh experience.
