Michigan offensive line unit honored with prestigious award
Michigan has had an outstanding season thus far. The Wolverines are 12-1, B1G Champions, and are headed to the CFP Semifinal in the Orange Bowl against No. 3 Georgia.
Michigan’s great season has had many accolades come along with it. The OL has now won the Joe Moore award for being the best OL in the country. That announcement came down on Tuesday.

Deservedly so as one of the big reasons the Wolverines were so dominant on offense was because of their rushing attack. Hassan Haskins and Blake Corum have been a two-headed monster all season. Including Haskins’ 5 touchdown performance to beat arch-nemesis Ohio State in one of the defining moments of Michigan’s season.

After the huge win over Ohio State, Michigan’s offensive line drew a rave review from legendary coach John Madden. It turns out he wasn’t the only one impressed with the Wolverines now capturing the Joe Moore Award.
Michigan takes on No. 3 Georgia in the CFP Semifinal Capital One Orange Bowl at 7:30 ET on New Year’s Eve.
Michigan looks to win 2 games and claim its first national title since the Wolverines split 1 with now conference opponent Nebraska in 1997.
