The No. 6 Michigan Wolverines are continuing to overpower the Northwestern Wildcats in the battle for the George Jewett Trophy.

Sophomore running back Blake Corum has been having a fantastic season, so far, for Michigan, but he is having a career day performance in B1G Conference play. Against Northwestern, Corum has accounted for his first 100-yard rushing performance against a B1G opponent.

Late in the third quarter, Corum has rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries. Corum has accounted for three performances where he rushed for over 100-yards. He had a 100-yard rushing performance at home versus Western Michigan, at home versus Washington, and at home versus Northern Illinois.

The previous most Corum has rushed for in a B1G game is on the road versus Nebraska rushing for 89 yards.
