Mike Morris turned in an impressive season for Michigan in 2022 while replacing Aidan Hutchinson and David Ojabo for the Wolverines. Now, he’s on his way to the 2023 NFL Draft.

Friday evening, Morris announced via his Instagram stories that he’ll be headed to the NFL Combine. This year’s combine will be head from Feb. 28 through March 6 in Indianapolis.

Morris’ 2022 season was headlined by capturing the B1G’s Defensive Lineman of the Year honor, giving Michigan back-to-back recipients of the award after Aidan Hutchinson took home the award in 2021. During the 2022 season, Morris posted 23 total tackles, 11 TFL and 7.5 sacks while breaking up 3 passes.

Morris was hampered down the stretch of the season with an ankle injury sustained during the win over Nebraska. After rest and rehab, he should be back to 100 percent as he looks to impress during the testing and on-field workouts at the NFL Combine. It will be interesting to see where his stock places him come April.
