Michigan was supposed to defeat Army by 22 points Saturday afternoon. At least, that’s what Vegas thought.

However, Vegas was wrong. Massively wrong.
And, this happens from time to time. Especially when a powerhouse program goes against another program that people have a perception on. The perception is that Army football really isn’t all that daunting.
But just last season, Army went 11-2 and lost at Oklahoma in overtime by a touchdown. Army is legit, whether you want to believe it or not.
So, when Michigan had to go to double OT to beat Army on Saturday, was it a surprise? Absolutely. Should it have shocked people? Probably not.
