Make no mistake about it: Shea Patterson will know where Chase Young is on every snap come Saturday.
The superstar defensive end for Ohio State is on a roll and has a habit of wrecking offenses. In his past two games, Young has compiled seven sacks and four forced fumbles against Wisconsin and Penn State.
For the season, Young has 16.5 sacks, a single-season record for the Buckeyes. He now has 30.5 career sacks and 39 tackles for loss. Young hasn’t recorded a sack against Michigan, but he had a tackle for loss and a pass defended in the 2018 contest.
During Tuesday’s press conference, Patterson admitted that Young is a game-changer who you have to pay attention to on every snap. He also said he has respect for Young’s game but knows Michigan will have some things ready to deal with him.
Angelique Chengelis with the Detroit News shared Patterson’s comments:
Shea Patterson on Chase Young: "He’s a game changer. You’ve got to pay attention to him every single snap. Sometimes he’s capable of doing whatever he wants. A lot of respect for him and what he’s done. We’ll have some stuff. "

Michigan’s offense, led by Patterson, is averaging 41.5 points over a current four-game winning streak. However, Ohio State will be by far the toughest defense for the Wolverines to deal with. Are they up for the challenge?
