Tom Brady involved in flipping Bryce Underwood to Michigan, per report
Tom Brady played a role in Bryce Underwood’s decision to flip his commitment from LSU to Michigan, according to a report.
That news comes from CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz, who says Brady has offered himself as a “resource” to Underwood moving forward. The report also says their relationship began with a FaceTime call a few weeks ago and the pair have since talked on multiple occasions.
The story makes no mention of Brady contributing to any sort of financial commitment for Underwood.
Underwood, a Michigan native, announced his decision to flip from LSU to Michigan on Thursday evening. It’s a decision that’s long been expected, but still sent shockwaves through the recruiting industry.
Underwood is the No. 1 overall player in the country for the class of 2025, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s the second-highest-rated recruit in modern history for the Wolverines, trailing only Rashan Gary, who was the No. 1 player back in the class of 2016.
Michigan now has the No. 9-ranked class in the country for the 2025 recruiting cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
Michigan will host Northwestern on Saturday.
