Tom Brady responds to report that he's considering a return to the NFL
Tom Brady is not planning a return to the NFL, despite reports to the contrary.
On Tuesday afternoon, Brady humorously responded to a report that he may return to the league in 2023 and to “keep an eye on Miami.”
Brady wanted it known that he’s busy taking care of his daughter’s 2-month old kitten:
Anyone who thinks I have time to come back to the NFL has never adopted a 2 month old kitten for their daughter. https://t.co/Qzf2H4vr1j

Brady officially announced his retirement from the NFL earlier this offseason. Of course, he also briefly retired following the 2021 campaign before returning for 1 final season with Tampa Bay.
Brady is already the NFL’s career leader in touchdown passes with 649. He won 7 Super Bowls during his NFL career and was named MVP of the league 3 times.
If Brady does return, it would be his age 46 season. His birthday is on August 3.
In the meantime, Tampa Bay is reportedly expected to give former Florida QB Kyle Trask the chance to start in 2023. Trask was a 2nd round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
