No. 6 Michigan traveled to take on No. 24 Michigan State and the Wolverines dominated defensively.

The defensive performance helped lead to the eventual 21-7 victory. After the game, however, there has been a bit of back-and-forth between Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh and Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio.

Why?

Not because of the game itself. But because of what happened before the game. Michigan State players came out arm in arm, beginning their pre-game festivities.

The issue was that Michigan players were already out on the field. There was a bit of an altercation when the two sides met, and Harbaugh said that Dantonio was 5 yards behind it all, laughing. Dantonio called “B.S.” on what Harbaugh said.

What did Michigan LB Devin Bush do?

Kick up the Spartans logo at midfield.

Here’s what Bush said after the game:

These two teams don’t love each other. And that isn’t changing after what happened on Saturday.

At least Bush had his team end up on the winning side of things.
