Mark Dantonio comments on La'Darius Jefferson's transfer news, talks up freshman RB
Earlier this week, news broke that Michigan State sophomore RB La’Darius Jefferson entered his name into the transfer portal.
This came a week after fellow Spartan RB Connor Heyward entered his name into the portal as well.

Michigan State has established Elijah Collins as its feature back this season, as Collins — against Ohio State a week ago — took 12 carries for 63 yards. No other Spartan — outside of QB Brian Lewerke — had at least four carries or 10 yards rushing.
During his weekly radio show, Spartans coach Mark Dantonio spoke about Jefferson, as well as a freshman RB that may see some playing time due to the backfield deteriorating:
Dantonio calls true freshman RB Brandon Wright an exciting talent. Says it's all about reps.

Brandon Wright has not appeared in a game so far for the Spartans this season.
Michigan State travels to Madison to take on Wisconsin starting at 3:30 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on BTN.
