Mark Dantonio has Jonathan Taylor on Heisman watch, expects physical game against Wisconsin
A week ago, Michigan State didn’t put together its best performance.
The Spartans lost to Arizona State 10-7 earlier in the season, but the 34-10 loss at Ohio State this past Saturday didn’t look good for either side of the ball. Michigan State has to right its wrong this week, but the task won’t be much easier.
The Spartans are traveling to take on Wisconsin, which is set for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff on Saturday and the game will be televised on BTN. On Tuesday, ahead of the B1G clash, Spartans coach Mark Dantonio spoke with the media about what’s to come in Madison:
Dantonio says Wisconsin is "an efficient football team offensively."

Dantonio brought up the fact that Wisconsin does things differently in the run game as opposed to Ohio State, which is certainly true. The Badgers also want to run the ball more often than the Buckeyes do.
Of course, the Spartans didn’t do much defensively against Ohio State though, allowing 323 yards on the ground. Hopefully, Wisconsin does mix it up if you’re Dantonio and Michigan State.
That way, you may have a better chance at stopping (or at least slowing down) Jonathan Taylor and the Badgers.
