Mark Dantonio provides injury update to left tackle Kevin Jarvis
Can anybody ever stay healthy on Michigan State?
Since last season, the Spartans have endured 4,267 injuries. OK, that’s an exaggeration. But, you get my point. Coming into Week 3, Michigan State had moved Kevin Jarvis over to left tackle since the first two players — senior Cole Chewins and junior A.J. Arcuri — that played at left tackle were lost due to injuries.

What happened in Week 3?
Jarvis got hurt. He is now the third left tackle to go down with an injury for the Spartans.
On Tuesday, while meeting with the media, Dantonio gave an update on Jarvis’ injury:
Dantonio: LT Kevin Jarvis will be out 6-7 seeks. Expects him back in November.

The good news to take if you’re a Spartans fan is that Jarvis is expected to return this season. The bad news is that the offensive line won’t be the same without him — or Chewins and Arcuri.
We’ll see how Michigan State fares this weekend when it travels to Northwestern for a noon ET kickoff on Saturday. The game will be televised on ABC.
