Michigan State basketball reportedly hosting several elite recruits this weekend
Michigan State is hosting several elite recruits across multiple high school classes this weekend as the Spartans prepare to face Ohio State.
That’s according to college basketball insider Joe Tipton, who listed out 5 elite recruits who are on campus this weekend in East Lansing. Three of those recruits are in the class of 2025.
Michigan State will host the following recruits for their game against Ohio State this afternoon, per source:
‘25 Jerry Easter (Top-30)
‘25 Darius Adams (Top-25)
‘25 Chuck Love (Top-55)
‘26 Steven Reynolds (Top-40)

Jerry Easter is a 5-star prospect in the class of 2025. He’s the No. 26 overall player and the No. 5 combo guard in that cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings. Darius Adams is ranked even higher at No. 22 overall for that class. Chuck Love is the lone forward of the group and is a 4-star talent. He’s the No. 69 overall player and the 15 small forward in the nation, per the service.
In 2026, the Spartans are hosting 4-star shooting guard Steven Reynolds and 4-star Gabe Sularski. Both Reynolds and Sularski are top-60 players in the class of 2026, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
The Spartans do not currently have any commitments in either of these recruiting classes. Tom Izzo and his staff will be hoping that changes in the coming days and weeks after this monster visit weekend.
