On Saturday, a day in which Michigan State lost to Ohio State 26-6, news broke that Spartans RB LJ Scott would redshirt 2018 and come back for the 2019 season.

The Spartans have lost many players to injury this season and Scott was one of them. On Sunday, the 6-foot-1 senior back — who will be a redshirt senior next season — tweeted out about what’s on his mind:

The motivation to get stronger, faster and better seems to be there. In 2018, Scott appeared in 4 games, totaling 55 carries for 180 yards and zero TD. Scott’s prior season-low for total TD was 7 back when he was a sophomore.

Scott has been battling an ankle injury.
