Minnesota redshirt freshman DL arrested for DWI, removed from team
This past Sunday, Minnesota walk-on defensive lineman Micah Roane was arrested for a DWI and was released from jail a few hours later.
It became confirmed on Friday that Roane has been removed from the team entirely.

Roane is a 19-year-old redshirt freshman and has a court appearance scheduled on Nov. 1 for his misdemeanor offense. To this point, he has not appeared in a game for the Golden Gophers.
He is a 6-foot-4 pass-rusher from Chaska, Minn. He was not ranked by 247Sports’ Composite Rankings. Roane walked on as a member of the Class of 2018.
