Thomas, a 6-foot, 160-pound pass-catcher from Snellville, Ga., is now the 24th player to commit to the Golden Gophers for 2020. He joins three other wide receivers to verbally commit to Minnesota next season, headlined by the Gophers’ top-ranked recruit in Daniel Jackson, a 4-star wide receiver from Kansas.
The entire Minnesota 2020 class can be seen here.
It currently ranks as the No. 33 class in the country and No. 9 in the Big Ten. Coach P.J. Fleck is starting to be able to put together recruiting classes he wants now.
He’s been at Minnesota for over a couple years now and has a 7-0 team at the moment. The hype is building, and it’s starting to show.
Thomas holds scholarship offers from Penn State, Cincinnati and Louisville among others.
