Minnesota is getting set for what will be a chilly game Saturday against Nebraska.

Heading into the Week 8 kickoff, the Gophers and Huskers are facing a forecast of 32 degrees and blustery wins come game time. Nebraska faced the task of clearing some snowfall off the field early Saturday morning but the snow is expected to move out before kickoff.

Also on Saturday morning, the Gophers unveiled their gameday uniform combination for Week 8. This week, Minnesota will rock white jerseys with the bright yellow pants and yellow helmets. It will be the old-school type helmets with block numbers on one side.

Minnesota still has a shot at a winning record this season after entering Week 8 at 2-3. It will require a win over the Huskers and a win over Minnesota’s Week 9 Champions Week opponent before waiting to see about a potential bowl game.

Another huge performance by running back Mohamed Ibrahim would be a huge boost to hopefully take down the Huskers. Ibrahim has over 800 yards and has put up 200+ in two games. Can he do it again?
