BTN crew has optimistic outlook for Nebraska following visit to fall camp
The Big Ten Network has been making the rounds through different fall camps and today’s stop was in Lincoln.
They visited the Cornhuskers’ fall camp and got to take in a full practice before discussing it as a team afterward.
In a video that was posted on Twitter, Joshua Perry, one of the analysts that took in the practice, said:
“They finished stretching and immediately went offense vs. defense, good on good scrimmage. Very physical period that they had. It reflects the way their schedule gets started, Week 0 (against Illinois). So, they have to be up for all the challenges. It’s really a tone-setter, a tempo-setter for a program that’s trying to take that next step. I think it resonates with the players.”
Gerry DiNardo then offered up his thoughts on what he saw from the practice and said:
“Physical, enthusiastic. It really looks like Scott Frost’s team, more so than the previous ones. It just seems like there was a comfort zone there. Probably the best Nebraska team we’ve seen (Frost) have.”

We’ll have to see if the good fall camp can translate to the actual games this year as Nebraska struggled once again last season. They finished the 2020 season with a 3-5 record.

RB clearly a question mark at Nebraska. Former 4-star Sevion Morrison had a good hard run in team drills earlier in practice. In the mix, for sure. pic.twitter.com/YdafziyDo3

DL brings a lot back from a pretty good group. Will be interesting to see if a pure pass rusher emerges. pic.twitter.com/eGEy8byorV

Adrian Martinez to Austin Allen. TE duo of Allen and Travis Vokolek is really impressive. pic.twitter.com/sLmpebanih
