Ex-Nebraska defensive tackle Jahkeem Green announces transfer destination
Former Nebraska defensive tackle Jahkeem Green is headed to South Carolina.
That’s according to a report from the Sumter Item, an outlet in Green’s hometown back in South Carolina.
#STRecruiting: Dennis Brunson of the Sumter Item reached DT Jahkeem Green of Sumter and a Nebraska transfer, and he confirmed that he's now set to head to #Gamecocks and begin class next week.

Green is a former 4-star JUCO prospect from the class of 2019. According to 247Sports, he was the No. 2 defensive tackle and the No. 18 overall JUCO player in that class.
Green played in five games for the Huskers this season, registering three total tackles. He had a season-high two tackles against Ohio State on Oct. 24.
In addition to being from South Carolina, Green was committed to the Gamecocks at one point. With new coach Shane Beamer at the helm, it appears that door is open again.
The transfer portal has not been kind to Nebraska recently. Earlier this week, star receiver Wan’Dale Robinson announced he’ll be attending Kentucky.
