'Freakish' Florida RB with offers from Alabama, Michigan commits to Nebraska
A high-profile running back with some big-time offers has committed to Nebraska.
On Saturday, three-star running back Marvin Scott III announced his commitment to the Huskers. He made his announcement on Twitter. He held significant offers from programs like Alabama, Michigan, Virginia Tech and others, along with Nebraska.
“Coach Held and Coach Frost, thank you for allowing me to continue my academic and football career at this great University,” Scott wrote. “I am thankful and truly blessed to be able to say that I will be committing to the University of Nebraska. Go Big Red!”

According to 247Sports, Scott is ranked as one of the top 50 running backs in the 2020 recruiting class. The 5-foot-8, 195-pound ball carrier runs a 4.54 40-yard dahs and is considered to be a “freakish” athlete because of his strength and speed combination.

He certainly brings some talent to the Huskers’ backfield.
Scott becomes the 10th player in the 2020 recruiting class to commit to Nebraska. Prior to his commitment, the Huskers ranked 11th in the B1G and 55th nationally in the recruiting rankings.
