Here's what Scott Frost said following Nebraska's first win of 2021
Nebraska made sure to experience a letdown in Week 1, steamrolling Fordham behind a strong performance from quarterback Adrian Martinez.
Early on, the Rams came out swinging and prepared to play tough Saturday afternoon. Even after falling behind, Fordham continued to fight hard on defense and never let up the intensity.
Overall, the game turned on a blocked field goal by Marquel Dismuke. That kept Fordham at 7 points, a total the Rams would never get past.
Nebraska would go on to surpass 600 yards of offense while scoring 52 points. That moved the Huskers to 9-0 under head coach Scott Frost when scoring 35+ points, per the BTN broadcast.
Here is a look at everything Frost had to say after the win:
“A couple little boo boos” early for QB Adrian Martinez, according to coach Scott Frost. But Martinez played well. He won’t be perfect, and people shouldn’t expect that, Frost said.
