Nebraska QB Adrian Martinez on field for warmups in knee brace
It’s Week 4 of the college football season and Nebraska is still looking for its first win.
Scott Frost is still looking for his first win. The Cornhuskers have to be hungry for a victory.
The only thing standing in the way? No. 19 Michigan. Not just the Wolverines, but QB Adrian Martinez’s health, too.
Martinez got hurt in the team’s first game against Colorado and missed the Huskers’ last game against Troy. Without Martinez, the offense didn’t look the same.
Nebraska is set for a noon kickoff at Michigan and the game will be televised on FS1. The latest update on the freshman QBs health is that he was practicing throughout the week, “and did all the stuff.”
Now, just before kickoff, here are some more updates:
Nebraska QB Adrian Martinez comes out for warmups. Wearing a brace on his knee. But seems to be jogging around fine.

There’s Martinez and the brace. Doesn’t look too clunky. #huskers pic.twitter.com/htiAqQAQh6

Adrian Martinez is on the field. Small brace on right knee. Obviously hard to tell if he has close to his usual mobility off limited warmups. In other words, keep eating your breakfast. We've got an hour to go still.

Nebraska quarterback Adrian Martinez is suited up and throwing on the field right now

Adrian Martinez already doing more pre-game workouts than he did last week.
Last week, he did workouts on the side alone. This week, doing it with the rest of the quarterbacks.

Well, Martinez is out there with a brace throwing with the other QBs. We’ll see if he starts against the Wolverines shortly.
