Luke McCaffrey is a freshman quarterback at Nebraska. The Huskers are playing Iowa Friday for a chance to get to 6-6 and become bowl eligible.

The offense got that spark midway through the third quarter thanks to McCaffrey. The Husker newcomer — who back up regular starter Adrian Martinez — is typically thought of as more of a runner. On this play, he rolled out to the left and saw wide receiver JD Spielman sprinting down the field.

The Huskers now only trail 24-17 at home. The game can be found on BTN.
