Three Nebraska assistant coaches saw a bump in their pay during the offseason, according to a report from the Omaha World-Herald.

According to Sam McKewon of the Omaha World-Herald, offensive line coach Greg Austin, defensive backs coach Travis Fisher and inside linebackers coach Barrett Ruud all received $25,000 pay increases during the offseason. The other seven assistants kept their original salaries.

With the raises, here’s what those three assistants are now making:

  • Austin: $500,000
  • Fisher: $325,000
  • Ruud: $225,000

All 10 assistant coaches have contracts that run through Dec. 31, 2020. Head coach Scott Frost is also still on his original contract.

Nebraska finished last season with a 4-8 record, but won four of its final six games of the season. The Huskers are 1-0 to start the 2019 season after a 35-21 victory over South Alabama.
