Scott Frost looking for 'someone he can trust' to be Nebraska's next OC
There are going to be significant changes in Lincoln on the offensive side of the ball this offseason.
On Monday, it was announced that head coach Scott Frost would return to his alma mater for another year, albeit a restructured contract. Later that afternoon, Frost announced he had fired his entire offensive staff except for TEs coach Sean Beckton.
Frost met with the media Wednesday afternoon to discuss the recent firings and changes coming to the offensive staff.
He named all of the interim coaches for the remaining 2 games of the Huskers season. You can read the full story on the interim head coaching staff here.
Frost also talked about finding an OC who will be calling the plays next season. Frost has been the play-caller for all 4 seasons at Nebraska.
“It’s not going to be easy,” said Frost, according to Sam McKewon of the Omaha World-Herald. “I’ve got to find somebody I can trust.”
