Abdul Carter draws Micah Parsons comparison from Ohio State coaches

Abdul Carter is liable to leave his mark when Ohio State and Penn State square off in Week 10 in a game with massive implications in both the B1G race, as well as the College Football Playoff.
The Buckeyes have already lost a B1G game at Oregon, and a loss to Penn State would all but eliminate them from being in the conference championship. The Nittany Lions are currently undefeated and ranked No. 2 in the country and are in great shape to be playing in the CFP.
One of the biggest reasons why Penn State has been so good is because of its defense. The Nittany Lions rank 4th in total yards (267.6 yards) and 8th in points allowed (14.3). Carter, the dynamic edge rusher, leads the team with 4 sacks and is definitely an emphasis to the Buckeyes coaching staff during the game-week preparations.
When asked about Carter, head coach Ryan Day said knowing where Carter is at all times is a must.
Ohio State’s Ryan Day on Penn State DE Abdul Carter: “You got to know where 11 is on the field. He's a dynamic player. Whether it's run game, pass game, you got to really do a good job with him.”

Buckeyes offensive coordinator Chip Kelly echoed the coach’s statements, even comparing him to another Penn State great.
Ohio State OC Chip Kelly on Carter: “He’s a lot like Micah (Parsons) in terms of what he can do in disrupting the game as a pass rusher. … You probably don't see that athleticism usually in defensive linemen that you get from him” https://t.co/hDfl70D1uF

Carter could present a lot of problems for an offensive line that isn’t playing good football, and is arguably the biggest weakness on the Ohio State team. The Buckeyes even have injury concerns at left tackle, another sign Carter may get a matchup he can exploit on Saturday.
