Big win? Florida locker room goes crazy after knocking off Samford

Florida’s 2021 season continues to spiral out of control into a pathetic display of productivity. On Saturday, Florida was set to host Samford, an FCS program in Birmingham, Alabama. This is the first game for Florida after firing its defensive coordinator in Todd Grantham.

Samford jumped to a 21-14 lead over Florida at the end of the first quarter. Florida’s defense continued to be unable to stop Samford’s offense throughout the first half. Samford went into halftime with a 42-35 lead over Florida.

Florida had a big third quarter by scoring 21-unanswered points before outscoring Samford 35-10 in the second half. Florida finished the game with a 70-52 win over Samford. After the game, the players for Florida celebrated the win over the FCS program with six losses in the season.

Needless to say, it is a wild scene and an odd look for an SEC program that entered the year with big expectations:
