Wylie attends Imhotep Institute in Philadelphia. He’s listed at 6-foot-2, 210 pounds.
According to 247Sports Composite rankings, he’s the No. 68 linebacker in the country for the class of 2022. He chose the Nittany Lions over offers from Kentucky, Pittsburgh, Ole Miss and more.
Penn State now has 14 commitments in the class of 2022. According to 247Sports Composite rankings, the Nittany Lions’ class ranks No. 8 nationally and No. 2 in the Big Ten.
Wylie is Penn State’s seventh commitment so far who is from the state of Pennsylvania. In the class of 2021, PSU signed just four players from its home state.
This is Penn State’s second commitment in as many days after Franklin’s staff landed JUCO transfer JB Nelson on Friday.
Players in the class of 2022 can officially sign with their programs in December during the Early Signing Period.
