College football insider Bruce Feldman updated how the ongoing NCAA investigation with Michigan’s sign stealing is going on Big Noon Kickoff.

Michigan suspended staff member Connor Stalions for his part in the scandal Friday. Feldman went on to explain how this scandal could further effect Jim Harbaugh’s status with the Wolverines.

Sources told Feldman that they were surprised that the NCAA has been so public during the current stage of the investigation.

He believed that it could mean that the NCAA feels it has strong evidence against Harbaugh and Michigan. The Michigan head coach already served a self-imposed three-game suspension earlier this year for recruiting violations during the 2020 Covid dead period.

Feldman says that people shouldn’t be surprised if Harbaugh ends up going back to the NFL.

“Some sources told me yesterday that they found it interesting that the NCAA has been so public during this stage of the investigation. Meaning maybe they feel like they have some strong evidence against Jim Harbaugh and Michigan,” said Feldman. “One other thing to keep in mind here. Jim Harbaugh is already dealing with NCAA hot water for recruiting violations during the Covid dead period. Don’t be surprised if Harbaugh leaves this season and jumps to the NFL.”

Stay tuned for more updates on the investigation.
