College GameDay is in Arlington, Texas for the Big 12 Championship game between TCU and Kansas State. However, for B1G country the focus will be on Michigan and Purdue in the title game.
Former TCU star RB LaDainian Tomlinson is the guest picker this week.
Michigan and Purdue are meeting for the first time since 2017. This time the game will be at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Michigan is heading to the game with plenty of momentum after beating Ohio State in Columbus 45-23. Purdue is in the title game after an Iowa loss to Nebraska cleared the way. The Boilermakers handled Indiana in a 30-16 win in the battle for the Old Oaken Bucket.
The Wolverines will be without star running back Blake Corum who is out after having season-ending knee surgery. Despite missing Corum, Michigan is still heavily favored in the matchup. Donovan Edwards will be manning the backfield now that Corum is out.
Here’s who the crew picked to win the B1G Championship:
LaDainian Tomlinson: Michigan
Lee Corso: Michigan
Kirk Herbstreit: Michigan
Pat McAfee: Michigan
Desmond Howard: Michigan
Grant Bricker covers the B1G for Saturday Tradition. His previous stops include the Williamson Homepage and Nashville Post.
