Fantastic news to share this Thursday afternoon. Doctors overseeing the medical care of Damar Hamlin reported Thursday that he was able to follow commands and even asked doctors if the Bills won the game against the Bengals.

Doctors responded with “Yes Damar, you won the game of life.”

Of course, the game between the Bills and Bengals was postponed after Hamlin went into cardiac arrest on the field following a hit to Bengals WR Tee Higgins. He was later administered CPR and transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Though Hamlin still remains in critical condition, recent updates have been nothing but positive. No matter how you spin it, the above interaction is a very good sign and cool to see.

A true competitor, through and through.
